The Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation is proud to donate to the Children's Grief Centre—a place for grieving children, teens, and families to find support and learn that they are not alone.

The Centre provides services to the families directly impacted by sudden and expected loss and the community members who support grieving children in their day-to-day lives.

The Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation's recent donation of $20,000 will go directly to the costs of their new Grief in My Backpack project. Teachers who are supporting grieving kids in their classroom will now be able to access a variety of resources from the Children's Grief Centre, including on-site consultations, videos, podcasts, webinars, and written materials.

With these resources, teachers can assist students to both cope with their grief and focus on their daily learning needs.
