Spruce Meadows is going bigger than ever this Christmas. Following a record 2025 season that welcomed more than 100,000 visitors, the International Christmas Market will expand to four weekends for the first time in 2026, with December 4–6 added due to popular demand.

More than 330 vendors will bring an extraordinary selection of locally crafted or sourced gifts and festive food to the Market, from handcrafted jewelry and original art to artisan chocolates and Christmas ornaments. Across European-inspired market shops and cozy indoor shopping halls, guests can discover something special for everyone on their Christmas lists.
Tickets are on sale now at sprucemeadows.com/christmasmarket, with Early Bird pricing available until November 12. General parking is included with admission.
“For over two decades, the Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market has been a highlight of the season, welcoming visitors from across Alberta, Canada and around the world. Following record attendance in 2025, we are excited to expand the market to four weekends this year, marking a new chapter in its history.
“The additional weekend will allow us to welcome even more visitors, showcase and support local and Canadian small businesses, and continue creating the memorable Christmas experience that so many look forward to each year.”
— Linda Southern–Heathcott, President & CEO of Spruce Meadows
Among the Christmas Market’s treasures are Spruce Meadows Exclusives: one-of-a-kind finds only available here. It’s a chance to surprise a loved one with a truly unique gift while exploring the work of local makers and independent artisans. Between shops, guests can enjoy seasonal food and drinks, surrounded by beautifully decorated Christmas trees and dazzling lights illuminating the grounds. Christmas music and crackling fires add to the magic, with real reindeer making appearances on select days.

This year, the Christmas Market is making room for even more holiday shopping. The new Riding Hall Circle Pavilion adds an entirely new area to explore, featuring more than 30 vendors.
Christmas shopping becomes a night out with new Adults-Only Friday evenings. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Friday, guests aged 18 and older can make a date of it or gather friends for an evening of gift shopping, seasonal food and holiday cocktails.

Miracle at the Meadows, the Christmas-themed pop-up cocktail bar created in collaboration with Proof Cocktail Bar, will serve holiday cocktails in a cabin setting overflowing with festive décor.
A Calgary Christmas tradition since 2001, the International Christmas Market will run November 13–15, November 20–22, November 27–29 and December 4–6, offering a full 12 days of Christmas shopping, food and entertainment.
