World-class events need world-class volunteers – and we feel that Spruce Meadows’ volunteers are the very best. Our volunteer Pegasus Club is made up of the more than 300 people who help out during tournaments and other events at Spruce Meadows. Some of our volunteers have been at Spruce Meadows since the very beginning and strong bonds of friendship have developed between many of our volunteers. Whether you are a lover of the horse or the sport - volunteering opportunities are flexible according to the amount of time you are willing to commit.

The Painter is the primary person responsible for all painting and finishing related tasks. This includes but is not limited to: temporary and permanent structures, décor, portable assets, day-to-day prep work and painting in commercial and residential settings including: prep of wood and walls, rolling, cutting, priming, spraying on shop and field and touch-ups. 

Please note that during the Tournaments, requirements and tasks may be adjusted. This is a full-time hourly position at 40–44 hours per week. Events are held on weekends; therefore, it is necessary to be available to work both weekends and nights. Shifts will fluctuate to coincide with the busy Spruce Meadows Tournament Season

Spruce Meadows and Cavalry FC are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the Retail Support role. In this dynamic position, team members work both behind the scenes and front-of-house, playing an important part in delivering exceptional retail experiences during the Spruce Meadows show jumping tournament season, Cavalry FC matches, and a variety of other events throughout the year.

Located in the southwest corner of Calgary, Alberta, Spruce Meadows is a world-renowned show jumping venue that hosts internationally recognized tournaments and community events annually. Alongside Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League, the venue comes alive with sport, entertainment, and thousands of fans throughout the year.

This is a full-time (seasonal) position at 40 - 44 hours per week starting at $20.00 per hour. Spruce Meadows is a world-renowned show jumping venue with events held on weekends; therefore, it is necessary to be available to work both weekends and nights. Shifts will fluctuate to coincide with the busy Spruce Meadows Tournament Season.
