2026 Spruce Meadows ‘Recycling is Real’ Challenge, presented by WM Promotion 

CHALLENGE RULES (the "Rules")

PROMOTION PERIOD:

1. 1. The Spruce Meadows ("Spruce Meadows") ‘Recycling is Real’ Challenge, presented by WM promotion (the "Promotion") starts at 9:00 am, MT, Monday, September 7, 2026 and ends at 23:59 pm MT, Sunday, September 30, 2026 (the "Promotion Period").

ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:

1. 2. The Promotion is open to any person who is a permanent resident of Canada, excluding Quebec, who is 21 years of age or older and who is not a director, officer or employee of Spruce Meadows or WM, its agents or affiliates or any person who is domiciled with any of the foregoing persons.

HOW TO ENTER:

1. 3. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE. Eligible participants who complete the entry form and answer the skill testing question via the following methods:

• The entry form is found at this hyperlink: www.sprucemeadows.com/recyclingisreal
• Complete the free Spruce Meadows ‘Recycling is Real’ Challenge, presented by WM game, which takes a few minutes, then complete the entry form by entering all required information and clicking SUBMIT.
• Limit: one (1) entry per person.
• Any attempt to enter multiple times by use of different names, addresses, email addresses, or any other means is grounds for disqualification. No sharing of email addresses is permitted. Spruce Meadows assumes no responsibility for failed communications due to any change of contact information after submitting an entry.
• Entries submitted by script, macro, bot, computerized or other automated or mechanical means, or entries that are not in compliance with or otherwise subvert the entry process, are void.
• Each person submitting a valid entry is deemed an “Entrant.” By entering this Promotion, you represent that you have read and agree to these Official Rules.

1. 4. Entries must be received by Spruce Meadows by 23:59 pm MT, Wednesday, September 30, 2026 to be eligible for the Prize.

THE PRIZE

1. 5. One (1) Grand Prize is available, including the following trip:

• One (1) VIP trip to the 2027 WM Phoenix Open for two (2) persons, consisting of: (A) round-trip economy air transportation between the major commercial airport nearest Winner’s home and Phoenix, Arizona for Winner and one (1) guest; (B) two (2) VIP Hospitality Tickets for Winner and guest for each day from Saturday, February 13 through Sunday, February 14, 2027; (C) two (2) Bird’s Nest Concert Tickets for Winner and guest for Saturday, February 13, 2027; and (D) one (1) room at a hotel in the area for a minimum of (2), maximum of (3) nights (Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13, 2027 – possibly Sunday, February 14, 2027 depending on flights), all subject to the conditions described in CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO PRIZE. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $3,000.

All flight and hotel arrangements will be handled by Spruce Meadows.

CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO PRIZE:

1. 6. Each Prize trip is subject to the following conditions, as applicable:

• Unless explicitly included in the Prize description above, all costs, charges, or expenses, including without limitation ground transportation to and from airports, all other traveling expenses, spending money, all taxes (including federal, province or state, and local income taxes, airport taxes, hospitality taxes, and any other applicable taxes), insurance, fuel surcharges, travel-related fees, items of a personal nature, travel documents (including passports and visas if applicable), meals and beverages, internet access charges, bar and wine charges, souvenirs, room service, gratuities, and local and long-distance telephone calls, are the sole responsibility of the Winner (as defined below) and the Winner’s guest.
• No compensation will be awarded to the Winner or the Winner’s guest if the actual value of the traveling expenses is less than the approximate retail value stated herein.
• If the Prize or any part of the Prize is not used, no compensation will be awarded to the Winner or the Winner’s guest.
• The Prize may be accepted by the Winner in whole or in part. If the Winner accepts only part of the Prize, Spruce Meadows shall have no obligation other than to provide to Winner such accepted part of the Prize. Winner shall not be entitled to claim any part of the Prize that the Winner has refused, and Spruce Meadows shall be released of any obligations pertaining to such refused part of the Prize.
• All accepted parts of the Prize must be used by the Winner during the same trip;
• No prize substitution or cash redemption is permitted by Winner. The Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable. Spruce Meadows reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value if any advertised prize (or any portion thereof) becomes unavailable for any reason.
• All dates specified in these Official Rules are subject to change. Spruce Meadows assumes no responsibility for cancellation or postponement of any events beyond Spruce Meadows’ reasonable control. If any prize-related activities are cancelled or postponed after travel is booked, the remaining elements of the Prize will be awarded as the complete Prize, and no additional compensation will be provided.

HOW TO WITHDRAW AN ENTRY:

1. 7. Participants who have submitted an entry and who do not wish to be entered for the Prize may retract their entry by emailing: information@sprucemeadows.com or write a letter to Spruce Meadows requesting that they be removed from consideration by 23:59 pm MT, Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING

1. 8.The probability of winning depends on the number of entries received during the Promotion Period.
2. 9.The Prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

AWARDING THE PRIZE

1. 10. The potential winner will be selected at random, on or about November 30, 2026, from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The potential winner will be notified by phone and/or email, using the contact information supplied at the time of entry. In the event the potential winner fails to respond within five (5) business days of the initial contact attempt, or is otherwise found to be ineligible, or declines the Prize, the potential winner will be disqualified and the Prize may be awarded to an alternate winner selected in the same manner.

WINNER VALIDATION

1. 11. In order to be declared a (“Winner”), an Entrant selected pursuant to Section 8 above must meet the following conditions:

• Compliance with these Official Rules and conditions for eligibility;
• Spruce Meadows will provide 3 documents to be completed and returned within three (3) business days of receipt, the 3 documents that must be returned including are an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and a publicity release (collectively, the “Winner’s Declaration Form”), in which the selected Entrant: (A) confirms compliance with these Official Rules and eligibility requirements; (B) releases Spruce Meadows, WM, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliated companies, parent corporations, employees, agents, representatives, administrators, officers, advertising or promotion agencies, sponsors, and suppliers of materials, prizes, and services related to the Promotion, and any other person directly associated with the Promotion, from all liability arising from or relating to the Promotion and the Prize; and (C) except where prohibited by law, authorizes Spruce Meadows and its representatives and designees (including WMs) to use the selected Entrant’s name, photograph, likeness, biographical information, statements concerning the Prize, and city and province or state of residence, without additional compensation, in any publicity or promotional materials related to the Promotion or future promotion.
• Each guest accompanying the Winner must sign a declaration form substantially similar to the Winner’s Declaration Form. If any guest has not reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction of such guest’s residence, such guest’s parent or legal guardian must sign the declaration form on the guest’s behalf.

Failure of the selected Entrant to satisfy any of the foregoing conditions within the specified time periods may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize. In such event, Spruce Meadows, shall have the right to select an alternate Entrant as described in these Official Rules and award the Prize to such alternate winner, time permitting.

THE INTERNET:

1. 12.Spruce Meadows is not responsible for telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled or delayed by computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants' or any other person's computer resulting from downloading of any materials or participation in this Promotion.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND RELEASE:

1. 13.All entries become the property of Spruce Meadows. Participation in the Promotion constitutes participants' full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Rules.
2. 14.BY ENTERING THE PROMOTION, ENTRANTS AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPRUCE MEADOWS, WM, AND THEIR respective Employees, agents and representatives, ITS subsidiaries, ITS affiliated companies, ITS controlling corporations, advertising or promotion agencies, suppliers of materials, prizes and services related to the Promotion, or any other person directly associated with the holding of the Promotion (“RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND THAT RESULT FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE; OR FROM ENTRY OR ATTEMPTED ENTRY INTO THE PROMOTION. THE RELEASED PARTIES ASSUME NO LIABILITY FOR LOST OR MISDIRECTED ENTRIES, WHETHER DUE TO TECHNICAL FAILURES, COMPUTER MALFUNCTIONS, HUMAN ERROR, OR ANY OTHER CAUSE. SPRUCE MEADOWS RESERVES THE RIGHT, AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO CANCEL, TERMINATE, MODIFY, OR SUSPEND THE PROMOTION IN WHOLE OR IN PART IF THE WEBSITE OR PROMOTION IS COMPROMISED BY VIRUS, SOFTWARE BUG, UNAUTHORIZED HUMAN INTERVENTION, OR ANY OTHER CAUSE THAT CORRUPTS OR IMPAIRS THE ADMINISTRATION, SECURITY, FAIRNESS, OR PROPER OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION, AS DETERMINED BY SPRUCE MEADOWS IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. IF THE PROMOTION IS CANCELLED FOR ANY REASON, THE WINNER WILL BE SELECTED BY RANDOM DRAWING FROM AMONG ALL ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED PRIOR TO CANCELLATION. THE RELEASED PARTIES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PRIZE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SPRUCE MEADOWS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

PUBLICITY:

1. 15.By accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name and photograph/image for publicity purposes without compensation, worldwide in perpetuity and in any form of media including the Internet.

AMENDMENTS & GENERAL RULES:

1. 16.Spruce Meadows may withdraw, amend or terminate this Promotion in whole or in part at any time for any reason without prior notice (but subject to applicable law). Without limiting the foregoing, Spruce Meadows may terminate or amend this Promotion, in whole or in part, if, in its sole discretion, it determines that for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as originally planned (such as fraud, or any other causes or occurrences that have compromised the fairness or integrity of the Promotion). This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. The decision of Spruce Meadows will be final and binding on all participants. Any dispute arising in connection with this Promotion shall be adjudicated in the applicable court in Calgary, Alberta.
2. 17.Each Entrant must be the rightful owner or have authorized use of the email account or mobile telephone account associated with the Entrant’s submitted email address and/or mobile telephone number (if provided). If a dispute arises about who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account or mobile telephone account provided, as applicable. The “authorized account holder” is deemed the natural person who is (i) assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address; or (ii) assigned to a mobile telephone number by a wireless carrier or other entity responsible for assigning that mobile telephone number. A potential winner may be requested to provide Spruce Meadows with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder associated with a winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.
3. 18.Spruce Meadows reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the operation of the Promotion, to be acting in violation of these Rules, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
