The War on Drugs

The War on Drugs are an acclaimed American rock band formed in Philadelphia in 2005 by singer, songwriter and guitarist Adam Granduciel. Celebrated for their distinctive blend of indie rock, Americana and expansive, atmospheric soundscapes, the band has become one of the most respected acts in contemporary rock music.

Their breakthrough album, Lost in the Dream (2014), earned widespread critical acclaim, introducing a broader audience to their signature combination of shimmering guitars, driving rhythms and introspective songwriting. Their follow-up album, A Deeper Understanding (2017), further cemented their reputation, earning the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2018.

With the release of I Don't Live Here Anymore (2021), the band continued to evolve their sound, delivering soaring melodies and emotionally resonant songs that have become favourites among fans. Standout tracks such as Red Eyes, Under the Pressure, Pain and I Don't Live Here Anymore showcase their ability to create music that feels both deeply personal and larger than life.

Renowned for their exceptional musicianship and captivating live performances, The War on Drugs transform their richly layered recordings into immersive concert experiences.
