Join us on Wednesday, July 1 for a full day of family-friendly fun, exciting entertainment, and a live concert by Canadian country star Brett Kissel—all included with your admission. 

The Brett Kissel concert is open to all Canada Day attendees and will take place indoors at 3:00 p.m. in the Equi-Plex. 

The ATCO Canada Day BBQ is available to the first 3,000 guests who receive BBQ coupons upon entry. 

Most activities, shopping, food vendors, and show jumping will continue outdoors. Check the "Schedule" for all other details.

Cap off your Canada Day celebration with a high-energy performance by Canadian country star Brett Kissel on the INDOOR concert Stage in the Equi-Plex. Known for his chart-topping hits and electric stage presence, Kissel’s live show promises to be a highlight of the day. This all-ages concert is included with the price of admission, so find a spot, and enjoy a wonderful end to a day full of celebration.

Thanks to ATCO, the first 3,000 guests will receive a complimentary BBQ coupon upon entry. Beginning at 12:00 p.m., redeem your coupon at either of our two BBQ locations: Main Drive near the All Canada Ring or Lower Plaza near Canada House. Enjoy a Canada Day lunch featuring a hamburger, your choice of salad, all the fixings, and a refreshing drink. 

BBQ service begins at 12:00 p.m., with lines opening at 11:30 a.m. at both locations. Coupon holders are guaranteed their meal before Brett Kissel takes the stage for his indoor concert in the Equi-Plex at 3:00 p.m.

Experience world-class show jumping throughout Canada Day at Spruce Meadows. Featured competitions in the iconic International Ring showcase top riders and horses competing in one of the sport's most celebrated venues. 

Watch precision, speed, and athleticism as athletes tackle challenging courses and thrilling jump-offs in front of an enthusiastic Canada Day crowd.

Best Dressed Contest

Celebrate Canada Day at Spruce Meadows, presented by ATCO, and show off your Canadian spirit for a chance to win big in our Best Dressed contest.

Whether you’re going full red and white, head-to-toe maple leaf, cowboy Canada, classic plaid, or something totally over the top, we want to see it.

Throughout the day, our judges will be searching the grounds for the most spirited Canada Day outfits. Selected finalists will be invited to the International Ring for the final judging.
