Celebrate the holiday season with a deliciously unexpected twist at Compliments of Deceasin', a fun interactive murder mystery experience at Spruce Meadows' British House. Indulge in a gourmet, holiday-inspired menu as you unravel clues, interrogate suspects, and work to solve a horrific & deadly crime before the night ends. Tickets are $110 per person per show (+18% service charge and 5% GST).

This is an 18+ event.

Seating

Seating for this event is arranged at elegant round tables of eight, creating a warm and social atmosphere. Tickets may be purchased individually (minimum of two), allowing smaller groups to join fellow attendees. Parties purchasing eight tickets together will enjoy a private table reserved exclusively for their group.

All other guests will be seated with fellow ticket holders on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join us for an unforgettable and fun evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a lively cocktail hour (cash bar), followed by a delicious buffet dinner at 7:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dress in cocktail attire with a hint of mystery to elevate the atmosphere and enhance the experience.

Your ticket includes dinner, dessert, and immersive entertainment throughout the night. With limited seats available, we encourage you to reserve early! Parking is FREE.

The Plot

The Christmas office party is the big event in the social calendar of Buttons & Bows Promotions Inc., a time for the staff & bosses to let their hair down, celebrate the year's successes, & congratulate the Happy Button Winner of the Best Promotions & Events Award. However, there's more mayhem than merriment at B & B this year.

The fight for the prize, which includes a resort vacation & a bonus, has been vicious. As the staff anxiously waits for the boss to reveal the final decision, a year's worth of inter-office rivalries, jealousies, & resentments gather with them under the mistletoe.

When blackmail & betrayal join the party, kisses turn to killing & merry wishes become Compliments of Deceasin’!

How This Mystery Unfolds

An Interactive, Laugh-Out-Loud
Dinner Theatre Experience

Get ready for an evening where comedy takes centre stage, and you become part of the mystery. Upon arrival, guests will find a helpful “Super Sleuth” ballot at their table to jot down clues, theories, and suspicions. Throughout the night, actors perform lively scenes right in the midst of the audience, introducing colourful characters, motives, and plenty of hilarious twists. The action is up close and personal—guests can interact with suspects, ask questions, or simply sit back and enjoy the show.

Just when things reach a boiling point, a dramatic (and delightfully comic) “murder” occurs. The room breaks for a delicious buffet, giving everyone time to dine, discuss, debate, and refine their theories. After dinner, the performance continues with new clues and more comedic moments, leading into a playful “kangaroo court” where audience members step in as judge and bailiff to settle lingering questions. Guests then cast their final vote for whodunnit, and Pegasus wraps up the evening by crowning the night’s top Super Sleuth.
