The ‘Continental’, presented by Rolex is set to begin tomorrow and is the first international event of the Spruce Meadows 50th Anniversary season. This season Spruce Meadows will offer more than $11 million of sponsor funded prize money for athletes. The grounds and facility are looking beautiful and athletes are eager to get underway.

Eighty horses completed the FEI Veterinary inspection today to compete in the week’s FEI5* portion of the tournament. Athletes from 14 nations will be represented throughout all competitions this week - all hoping to earn their spot in the winner’s circle.

Canadian FEI Course Designer Peter Grant is leading our course designers this week and his tracks will be featured on the All Canada Ring. This week’s pinnacle competition will be the $500,000 Duncan Ross Grand Prix, presented by Rolex on Sunday, June 8.

Competitions will take place Thursday through Sunday with additional entertainment (outdoor movies on Fridays and live local music on Saturdays and Sundays), shopping and food and beverage offerings from Friday to Sunday as part of our new EPIC Weekends offerings.
