The ATCO Cup closed out competitions on the International Ring for Friday of the ‘North American’. The track, designed by FEI Course Designer Santiago Varela (ESP), produced five clears into the jump off.

The Irish have been fighting amongst themselves at the top of the leaderboard, and today it was Darragh Kenny aboard Lightning, who produced the fastest clear round in the jump-off with a time of 36.95s. Conor Swail (IRL) finished in second and Canada’s Sarah Lottis, rounded out the top three placings.

This year we’ve heard the Irish National Anthem an astounding 16 times on the International Ring. With such a strong Irish field of riders there’s a good chance we’ll see the colours of Ireland fly again this weekend.
