Meet Lisa Wright, a seasoned professional in the world of dog training, with an impressive 30-year career helping dogs and their owners master manners, sports, and even some fascinating job skills! Lisa's passion for herding led her to spend most of her free time with her dogs and sheep. Her dedication has paid off, with her and her pups racking up numerous awards and titles, including multiple USBCHA Open trial wins, Canadian Championship double lift finals, and even appearances at the Calgary Stampede! Lisa is bringing three of her incredible dogs to Spruce Meadows: Star, a seasoned pro with a string of victories to her name; Jake, a young talent just starting his trial career; and Moss, the adorable rookie who's eager to learn the ropes!

The Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) is a grassroots animal welfare organization with a foundation of compassion and kindness, embodied by its hard-working staff, volunteers, foster homes and supporters. Our goal is to help homeless animals in communities across Alberta and provide community support programs to address the root causes of animal overpopulation and homelessness. Our vision is that together we can enact societal change so that someday we may all witness a Compassionate World for All Animals.

The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Alberta is an animal rescue organization helping dogs and cats in Alberta. ARF is a volunteer-based organization and registered non-profit charity. Our mission is to rescue stray and unwanted dogs and cats from rural areas and communities with limited resources, and place them in loving, permanent homes while providing programs to reduce pet overpopulation. ARF also provides care, stability, medical assistance and lifelong homes for our rescue animals along with training resources to help their new families.

Calgary Humane Society staff members and volunteers will be engaging with community members, providing information on shelter services, accepting donations, and selling branded merchandise/handmade goods to raise funds for animals in the community
