June 3, 2026 (Spruce Meadows) - The countdown is over — the Spruce Meadows 'Continental' CSI5*/CSI2* begins tomorrow, with elite athletes representing 19 nations ready to take center stage.
Earlier today, more than over 190 horses completed the mandatory FEI Veterinary Inspection, an important first step that ensures every horse is fit and prepared to compete throughout the week.
The excitement builds toward Sunday's feature event, the AKITA Drilling Grand Prix presented by Rolex, where top athletes will battle for victory in the season’s first Grand Prix.

This week, athletes will test their skills over courses designed by FEI Course Designer Tom Holden (IRL). Renowned for creating tracks that are fair, flowing, and educational, Holden's courses challenge competitors while encouraging confidence and development in both horse and rider.
